Dr. Benjamin Domb is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Hip Arthroscopy. He graduated with honors from Princeton University, and was at the top of his class at John Hopkins School of Medicine, the #1 medical school in the country. He has been rated amongst the Top Doctors in the USA by the NY Times, US News & World Report, and Castle Connelly.

Dr. Domb is the Founder and Medical Director of the American Hip Institute, the first clinic in the nation dedicated to elite treatment of hip problems. He is also the Founder of the American Hip Institute Research Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, innovating, and improving the minimally invasive treatment of hip injuries.

Dr. Domb has treated numerous professional, Olympic, and elite level athletes, including NFL, NBA, and NHL players. He has cared for the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Kings and Galaxy, and served as Head Team Physician for the WNBA Chicago Sky. Dr. Domb is amongst the most experienced Hip Arthroscopy surgeons in the world, and was the first surgeon in the United States to perform outpatient Robotic Hip Replacement. He is the inventor of cutting edge techniques in hip arthroscopy to repair injuries such as a torn labrum, impingement, and gluteus medius tears. Dr. Domb and the American Hip Institute treat patients from across the country who travel to Chicago for their surgery, and he takes pride in caring for every patient like a professional athlete.

Dr. Sergey Neckrysh is the chief of Spine Surgery at UI Health. He is a board-certified neurological surgeon specializing in the treatment of complex spinal conditions. Dr. Neckrysh focuses his clinical practice on revision surgery and complex spine reconstruction for failed back syndrome, adult and pediatric scoliosis, primary and metastatic spinal tumors, as well as degenerative conditions and spinal trauma. Dr. Neckrysh has been in practice for more than 18 years.

Dr. Thomas Obermeyer is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder surgery and sports medicine. He has completed advanced fellowship training among the most highly regarded academic physicians in the United States and in Europe. He is recognized as a leading shoulder subspecialist, offering state of the art arthroscopic repair, complex shoulder replacement, and revision shoulder surgery. His practice also focuses on the knee, including arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction and repair, and replacement. His individualized treatment approach emphasizes minimally invasive techniques for expediting surgical recovery and properly counseling patients as to expectations regarding their treatment options. An award-winning researcher, Dr. Obermeyer has published articles on shoulder replacement innovations and biological improvements in fracture treatment. He is a recognized educator, having published a number of book chapters and continues to lecture and teach labs across the country as faculty. Dr. Obermeyer is available to see patients in our Bartlett, Elk Grove Village and Schaumburg locations.

Dr. William Vitello was born and raised in Northwest Ohio and attended the University of Toledo where he graduated cum laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology (B.A. 1987-1992). He earned his Degree in Medicine (M.D. 1992-1996) from Wright State University School of Medicine. He continued his training at Wright State University School of Medicine where he completed two years of General Surgery training as well as the five year orthopedic surgery program (1996-2003). Dr. Vitello did his fellowship training (2003-2004) at the renowned Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. There, he received sub-specialized training in Hand, Microvascular, and Upper-Extremity conditions.

Dr. Vitello has extensive experience in the conservative and operative treatment of Hand and Upper-Extremity related injuries and chronic conditions. He has also authored numerous journal and text book articles. He has given numerous presentations at the National and International Orthopaedic Society Meetings throughout his career. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Hand Surgery.

Dr. Vitello’s treatment philosophy is to understand the unique needs of every patient as well as their concerns. He then educates the patient on the diagnosis along with their surgical and non-surgical options and provides them the optimum care they deserve.

Christine Jagodzinski is a shareholder at Nyhan, Bambrick, Kinzie, & Lowry, P.C., a Chicago-based workers’ compensation defense firm representing employers in the Midwest. Ms. Jagodzinski has defended workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers and insurance companies in Illinois for the last 18 years, frequently trying cases and handling appeals. She also enjoys lecturing on topics involving workers’ compensation.

In 1998, Ms. Jagodzinski received her B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Loyola University Chicago, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa while playing volleyball for Loyola. In 2000, she received a master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Loyola University Chicago. Ms. Jagodzinski later earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago in 2002, graduating Cum Laude. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. Outside of work, Ms. Jagodzinski enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.
